Nature and extent of proposed development

Clare County Council has appointed a design team to develop an Emergency Accommodation scheme at Grey Gables. The proposed development will consist of the demolition of the existing dwelling on the site and the construction of a new emergency accommodation building, part three-storey and part two-storey in height, providing temporary accommodation and associated support facilities, specifically for homeless women and children. The development will also include the provision of a new boundary wall, landscaping works, and a children's play area, together with connections to existing site services and all associated ancillary site development and enabling works.
