Council gives notice of plans to amend the Kilkee Parking Bye‑Laws.
Clare County Council in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 101 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961, (as amended), Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended, and all other enabling powers hereby gives notice of its intention to make bye-laws in respect of the parking of vehicles in car parks and on public roads in Kilkee, Co. Clare.
A draft set of bye-laws, entitled the “Kilkee Parking Bye-Laws 2026” has been prepared and may be downloaded from the documents section of this webpageor inspected during normal opening hours from 28th May 2026 to 29th June 2026 at the following offices of Clare County Council:
Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis.
Shannon Municipal District Office, Town Hall, Shannon.
West Clare Municipal District Office, Town Hall, The Square, Kilrush.
Ennistymon Area Office, Ennis Road, Ennistymon.
Killaloe Municipal District Office, Mountshannon Road, Scarriff
Submissions or observations with respect to the draft bye-laws can be made by email to trafficteam@clarecoco.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Clare County Council, Àras Contae an Chlàir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare, on or before 4.00pm on 13th July 2026.
