The Local Economic and Community Plan 2023 – 2029 will shape the future development of Clare over the next six years, and we want your input and vision as to what Clare should look like.
Clare Socio Economic Statement
The Clare Socio Economic Statement outlines what the process is about and aims to encourage the people of Clare to start the conversation on topics that affect everyone who lives and work in Clare and also those who visit the county. We want to make it an even better place in which to live, work and visit by creating new opportunities, improving connectivity and access, between rural and urban areas, and by protecting and enhancing services in the community.
Following extensive stakeholder and public consultation, the LCDC has produced a report reflecting the findings of these consultations. The LCDC & Economic SPC will be working on the development of actions and outcomes over the Autumn period to further inform the LECP Framework document and the first of three two-year implementation plans that will accompany the Plan. In the meantime, the Clare's LCDC would like to take this opportunity to thank all our stakeholders and the public in Clare for their active participation and engagement on the Public Consultation process on the preparation of the Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) for County Clare.
If you have any further thoughts, ideas or opinions on the Local Economic and Community Plan 2023 – 2029, we would like to hear from you. Any individual or interested parties can make a submission or observation either through this online platform, via email to lecp23@clarecoco.ie or in writing to Clare County Council at the following address: LECP, Rural Development, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare, V95 DXP2.
