Young people from the ages of 4 to 13 are invited to design a fun poster to celebrate Sustainable Development Goals Week and how we can work to build a better future for everyone.

Why it matters?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals that aim to create a more sustainable, fair, healthy, and prosperous world by 2030. They focus on important issues such as climate action, clean water, good health, quality education, biodiversity, and reducing inequality.

By taking part in this competition, you can share your ideas about how we can make County Clare a greener, cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable place to live, work, and visit. Your poster will help raise awareness of the SDGs during SDG Week and inspire positive action in our communities.

What to do

Design a poster that celebrates one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals and shows how they can make a difference in County Clare.

Your poster could include ideas such as:

  • Growing local food and supporting sustainable communities
  • Protecting nature and biodiversity
  • Reducing waste and recycling more
  • Taking climate action
  • Using clean energy
  • Keeping our communities healthy and active
  • Promoting inclusion and equality
  • Protecting our rivers, beaches, and oceans

Let your imagination shine and show us what a sustainable future looks like to you!
