Phase 2 - Implementation of Built Up and Urban Speed Limits and Reduction of Speed Limits on sections of the R458, R352 & R445 Draft Special Speed Limit Bye – Laws Public Consultation
In accordance with Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 as amended by Sections 53 to 56 of the Road Traffic and Roads Act, 2023, and Sections 6 to 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2024 the Draft Clare Couty Council Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws 2026 have been prepared and will be available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday from Wednesday July 29th, 2026 to Monday August 31st, 2026 (both dates inclusive) at the following locations;
Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare
Each Clare County Council Municipal District and Area Office

Submissions/observations on the Draft Special Speed Limits may be made on this platform, or in writing;
