It is important that dogs of all sizes can exercise off leash, enjoy freedom, and engage in social interaction. A Dog Park will be piloted in Illaunmanagh, Shannon (Site Map attached).
Thanks to an allocation from the Shannon Municipal District Councillors who kindly initiated and funded this project from their 2026 General Municipal Allocation. Funding was also received from the Department of Rural & Community Development under the Dog Control Support Initiative.
