Welcome to the Clare County Council's Climate Action Engagement Platform. The Engagement Platform is designed to be an interactive resource that provides access to guidance and resources on climate action, updates on the progress of climate action in County Clare and enables feedback and suggestions from the public on climate action for consideration.

Climate Action Week 2026

Climate Action Week 2026 will take place across County Clare from 12th to 18th October 2026, bringing together communities, libraries, local organisations and climate action partners to showcase practical ways people can reduce emissions, conserve resources, support biodiversity and build more sustainable communities. The week features energy advice clinics, sustainable gardening talks, public transport awareness events, arts and climate activities, webinars and family-friendly circular economy initiatives.

Climate Action Progress Report 2026

The Climate Action Annual Progress Report 2026 illustrates highlights from the past year with respect to the implementation of the Clare Climate Action Plan 2024-2029. The document provides a snapshot of actions that have been implemented across the five themes in the plan and illustrates overall progress of the since its adoption in February 2024.

Climate Action Newsletter

Clare County Council's Climate Action Team has launched the Clare Climate Action Newsletter. The newsletter, published twice yearly, provides updates on climate action in the county, information on upcoming climate events and guidance to support residents, communities and businesses. Climate Action Public Feedback Form

The Climate Action Public Feedback Form is an online form for all residents and communities in Clare to provide suggestions, ideas and feedback in relation to climate action. Feedback can be in relation to any climate-related matter such as energy, waste, water, buildings, transport, active travel, community engagement, sustainable business and tourism and the natural environment etc. Feedback can be submitted anonymously, will be reviewed continually and where relevant will be considered for integration to support delivery of the Clare Climate Action Plan 2024-2029.

Climate Action Webinars

Clare County Council has partnered with Tipperary Energy Agency to deliver a two-part series of accessible and informative bitesize 30-minute webinars. Solar Energy: An Introduction is the first in the series and provides an introductory level overview of solar energy for residential, business and community applications and information on the grants and incentives available. Anaerobic Digestion: An Introduction, the second in the series, provides an overview of the technology, opportunities, challenges and best practice case studies.
